About MaxBid
MaxBid helps UAE vehicle dealers answer one question before they bid: is this specific lot actually worth buying, once every real cost between the auction and the resale is counted?
What MaxBid does
MaxBid scans vehicle auction lots — both cars already sitting in UAE auctions and cars that still need to be imported from overseas — and runs each one through the same model: landed cost (auction price, fees, freight, duty, clearing and registration where they apply), expected resale in the UAE market, and the profit that leaves. From that we return a single number, the max safe bid, and a verdict — BUY, CHECK, AVOID, WATCHLIST or PARTS ONLY — so a dealer can decide before, not after, the auction closes.
The public board on the homepage shows a sample of that work with the headline numbers visible and the full cost breakdown and reasoning behind an unlock. Dealers who request access get the full model for every scan, including how each figure was built.
What MaxBid is not
MaxBid is not an auction house, a broker, a shipping company or a party to any sale. We do not hold funds, place bids on a dealer's behalf, or guarantee an outcome. Every verdict is a modeled estimate built from the information available at the time it ran — the vehicle still has to be verified, and the auction still has to be won, on its own terms. See our Terms & Conditions for the full picture of what MaxBid does and does not commit to.
Where the data comes from
Auction inventory is pulled from connected data providers covering US auction platforms and Japanese RHD export marketplaces, plus vehicles UAE dealers enter directly from local auctions. Every listing on MaxBid is labeled as either a live result (backed by a fresh feed) or an indexed/modeled case (a past or reconstructed example shown for illustration) — we do not blur the two. If a source is temporarily unavailable, we say so rather than filling the gap with an invented number.
